This year’s influenza campaign starts on the 14th April 2021. There is a two week prioritisation period (between 14 April and the 28 April) when only those who are eligible for the funded influenza vaccine should be vaccinated.
All patients 65 years and older are encouraged to get the influenza vaccine early so they are ready for the covid vaccine as these vaccines need to be 2 weeks apart.
The rest of the general population who are not eligible or 65years+ influenza vaccines have now been delayed until May.
To see if you are eligible or to find out more please email
